in theory for valving purpose at full compresion the shock should not be any more than 90deg from the trailing arm or inward

coilover or smoothy or by-pass shock

all these will work for the outback ,valveing the set up is more important than anything.if you run smoothy then l would reccomend bump stops as well.l know l sell king but more than happy to explane the difference in shocks as opposed to brands thanks rohan 0417395295

coil over

coil over should cost about $1200 ea with springs and remote canister.if you plan to run coil overs and by pass shocks l would fit the coil overs first and fabricate for both at the same time .when funds permit then add by pass shocks.rohan

there are few on the market ,we supply the king shocks version,these can be valved separate for compresion or rebound as well as changing gas preasure,they now come in 2in or 2.5in versions.the 2.5in version provides nearly twice the force over a 2in bump stop.we keep these here in australia ,we ...

gen 111 into patrol not hard just a lot of time,the hardest part was exhaust .had to make own extactors,again just time .
motor in and running ,chev clutch ,motec computer for engine management.

hi hardy,
the motor l used was out off a 2001 disco.only after supercharging it ran lean at mid to top end.the computer l use is a motec m800 .i changed the injectors to 5.7chev inj.and a riseing presure reg.all ok then.

the sta came out off another range rover .i moved it over to the 4.0 l ...

supercharger

i had a 4.0L with an sta supercharger thor manifold,worked great ,could have had more bottom end .l had to change injectors as they didnot flow at top end.this was on a classic range rover,how will you manage the fuel system,have been told you can piggy back rover computer ,but auto does not change ...

hi rob ,the line from the pump to the steering box is high presure and would need to be fixed by pirtek ,the returne line is low presure this goes back to the reservior,this hose you should be able to fix yourself

maxi cwp sets

if your going to change the front to rear cwp sets,you should check the direction of the teeth as i believe the maxi drive are directional,they are not like the original 3.54 ratio .

the injectors on the 4L motor ie thor are a shorter injector than the holden injectors.on the holden injector you need to watch the fuel pressure as this also changes the flow rate and spray pattern
up to vs pressure is 280-320 kpa
vt on 270-350 kpa 3.8 motor
vt 5.7 chev 350-450 kpa (50psi)(these ...

l put a glass packed 8x4 ,16" baffled 2 1/4 o/o with a 11" glass packed
hot dog on the rear.this has a great note if you like the sound off a v8.
l also have a k/n filter have yet to dyno,did the uni chip help?
