Don't laugh, but a BEST BUY from Supercheap. I have several myself and given them shit for about 2 years now.
I cut/grind concrete as a job, and we use BEST BUY grinders for doing edges and what not where a normal concrete grinder can't get to. They get given hell and never die. You can drop them ...

Sandblasting/Powdercoating bullbar.
I'm looking for a powdercoater/sandblaster in the brisbane northside area. I have a baby 5 poster bullbar that has had a few to many coats of kill rust on it. Just wondering if anybody has any recommendations/a basic price?
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: interior light 75 series
An led drains stuff all, so just tap into any wire with full time power, and put a switch spitting the positive wire.
People might not approve, but i wouldn't bother with relays and what-not. It's an led that drains minimal power and would be on for only a short amount of time.

Re: deisel kill switch
I put a switch with an inline fuse straight into the fusebox to a fuse labeled somthing along the lines of engine(?)
It kills the car straight up as i discovered going through freshwater track when I put my foot through the wiring lol.
I don't know if this would work on yours or not. Mines a 1hz ...

Re: Grinding noise in 4x4
From memory it happens in 2-5, I don't know about 1, I'm never in it long enough to find out. If it's just the shaft I might wait until I get a lift, and just buy a new shaft to suit. I've got to start watching what I spend as of 9am this morning, who knows what's going to happen to the country. A ...

Re: Tailshaft lenghts
Might sound stupid, but do spacer blocks exist? Is there any reason you could get a machine shop to make up a 45mm spacer and just buy some longer bolts? I imagine it would be a lot cheaper then a custom made shaft. Just a suggestion.

Re: Clutch not working??
Can't miss a photoshoot though haha.
Who needs a clutch, start it in gear down a hill, shift without the clutch, and stall it at every set of lights.
Same thing happened to a mates Pajero on Bribie last year. Drove the whole way up the beach, stopped for a fish, went to drive off an hour or so ...

Re: Grinding noise in 4x4
Cheers for the replys.
T-Diesel, its got stock suspension, no lift and just running 31s.
I'll try taking the shaft out again and see what happens, and hopefully i'll be able to nick someones else driveshaft and give it a go. I guess its just a process of elimination. I'll get it up on the ...

Grinding noise in 4x4
I have a 75 series cruiser with a 1hz and since going to rainbow a fortnight ago, I have developed a loud grinding noise coming from the gearbox area. Its only there in 4x4, both high and low, and only there when there I take my foot off the accelerator. Anybody have any idea what this is? It's got ...

Pump was sent to Diesel Power Systems in Kawana. They have done a bit of work for our workshop and seem to be good.
The price was estimated around $800, when the stripped it down the price went to $1,150.
Then he rang yesterday and said it needed another part, distribution head i think he said. So ...

Re: 75 series front drive shaft
can a 75 series front drive shaft be reversed to alleviate the issue of being too close to the crossmember when putting in 3 inch lift
Don't take my word for it, but i had my front drive shaft reversed in mine for probably 4 months after a few late nights of changing my gearbox. Didn't realize ...
