Fitting a small cooler might not help you if it doesnt flow well enough. The big diesel engines with even the ordinary turbos move a lot of air. Hey mate this is going to sound stupid but id check the fluid level. My friends and i have have bought 3 cars with faulty autos and all of them had either the wrong fluid or almost no fluid. Can you drive the car? If its possible to drive it and it drives ok id start looking for the problem elsewhere.

2.7 was mint mate very torquey it will pull itself up anything. other than the exhaust and extractors my car is still normal mate so its running a set of 31x10.5's Im sure the economy will be going out the window once ive fitted the SAS kit and 35's but for now its good. just FYI my old 2000 model with the 2.7L 4cyl had 33's and used to get 430-450 out of a tank ...
