Rims 15" or 16"

Just found out that we have a buckled rim on our 89 GQ.

Question is when getting some new rims would we be better getting 15 or 16" rims, as rig does 80% road and thinking of going from 31's to 33's as well.

Thanks in advanced.

Hand throttle

I have an MQ hand throttle cable etc, and someone off of here was after one for their GQ.

So my question is, would this one work in the GQ for length etc?

Patrol Guru's - Advice Please

I sent the wifes car to heaven and we are thinking of upgrading the patrol, if we can get the funds together and have seen 2 that might be Ok but I'm not sure which would be better. Will be spending about 60% of time on road and not doing extreme off road. We do need a LWB as there are four children ...

They can't even hear police sirens when they have the windows up and the radios on. But alas I only have 2 sets of standard tripple air horns under the bonnet, one set ...

That's where those black gas keys come in handy, the ones to undo the caps. Just wedge it inbetween the trigger and the surround, keeps it on and don't have to hold the trigger. Aparently an old spark plug does the same.

Starter motor itself is ok, as just put the orig one back in and it fired.
So I'd say the stuck part was correct, and now just wondering how to stop that from happening again if at all poss.

I've already gotten the solid ones out of an 83 MQ LWB, but didn't want to rip the ones out of the MK if not similar. The rubbers seem fine to me and in OK nik, but ...

MK Rear sliding windows

Hi all

Thought I had better ask before pulling it out.
Are the sills for a sliding window setup in the MK the same as the ones of a solid window setup in a LWB MQ, as have pulled to solid window out of the MQ hoping it will go straight into the MK.

If not are the mods hard to do please??????

Also gas mixtures are ment to be about a 70/30 mix when produced, and if the companies as a little sort of the 30% mixture they don't really care and make about an 80/20 mix. This could also be causing some probs too, don't know how they get away with it tho. Pitty something can't be done like the ...
