yeh i would splice into the headlight harness on whichever side is easiest to get at and closest to the battery you are going to be powering the lights from - prob drivers side easiest. You dont necessarily have to 'cut' the wiring out... i would just make sure nothing is ever going to short out ...

130w at 13V = 10 amps, x2 would be a 20 amp draw, more on cold start. 40 amp fuse + relay + wiring appropriate at a minimum. As previously mentioned, Toyota's use a negative switching system on the headlights. That is, there is constant power to the headlights, the switch is on the negative or earth side. Sorry just reread, I would of thought the relay would be down on the rh side of the inner guard, or up on the lh side? I know on my hilux the relay has it's own fuses which I have blown once before. the relay i fitted is a dual coil relay xa gt falcon type new era 5 pin i have wired it up b ...

doing conversion 4 speed to 5 speed box need to change tail shafts that suit the 5speed ,,,the ones i have are lateish round ends and the diffs in the vehicle getting converted are the older square type member informed i will have to change the diff flanges is there a way i can just swap the flange ...

from what i remember you also need the 5 speed cross member it gives the required angle cheers steve i think thats it ..that the crossmember takes up the angle not so much the engine that takes up the angle as there are a lot of old fj 60 series out the converted to 5 speed i called a few 4x4 ...
