My friend has a 100kw 4AGE in his garage that hes not using. (In Brisbane)
If you are interested in it PM me and I'll give u his mobile.
It's a 16v one shouldn't be too expensive.

Hilux 3Y Spark plug
Hiya,
I've ordered some BPR5EY spark plugs instead of the BPR5EY-11 spark plugs that are in there atm.
I am just wondering if the BPR5EY ones are going to actually work or if I am screwed.

Tyres
Hey I'm getting some tyres and rims next week for the car and I found some tyres that are 31 x10.5 x15 with no rims.
It's for an 84 hilux.
A) Are these too fat for the hilux? Will I need some special stuff to make it work?
B) What rims can I get for it?? I see sunrasiar rims and they all say like ...

How much is car paint?
Hey my dads friend has all the spray gear as he sprays stuff every day (not cars though) and he said he'll spray it for free provided we provide the paint and get it ready etc to be sprayed.
It's a single cab ute and I only want to spray the cab.
Any idea how much it'd cost and is white cheaper ...

I've been starting it every few days for 5mins or so (starts easy)
It runs quite roughly (3Y Engine) In terms of idling, with more revs its OK.
Should I pull the choke out when it hasnt been started for a few days for the first 5mins or so? I'm not sure about these older cars as it starts fine but ...

mid 80's Jackaroo turbo diesel
Hey, I'm thinking of purchasing a turbo diesel jackaroo.
It's currently running but has got worn valve stem seals that makes it blow blue smoke when you start it.
A) Is this serious?
B) What's the time frame this needs to get fixed in?
C) How much would this cost to get fixed?
Also it's running ...

Cheap entry to 4x4
Hey guys, first of all this site is really great.
I'm going to spend hours and hours looking through some of the threads here.
I've got about a $2000 budget to buy an old 4x4 which is capable of carrying loads and 4x4 as well as not being too heavy on petrol.
I have found a 1980~ 4x4 ...
