just letting you know mate that super swampers are cheaper than that per tyre.if you want a good mud and rock tyre id be going with interco for the price and reputation.

im rebuilding it for a bloke he just wants the standard carby.i suggested a holley or webber conversion but he says he doesnt want to pay $400 + and have the hassle of tuning it all the time or somethin? hopefully it will be as simple as welding it up. ill have a crack at it and if it still leaks ...

nah i have none at the moment sorry.
its cracked because 1 of the 4 mounting bolts were done up to tight.
its cracked all the way through but there is a small piece holding it on.

when the carby is bolted down it has a small amount of play.i was more worried about the air leak.

just wondering how youd fix a cracked carby?
im doing an engine rebuild and found the carby was cracked.
im not too sure if you can weld or braze it?
would quicksteel do the job or should i just get a new carby?

no. it ran out of rego while i was doing a cab swap and putting my lockers and stuff in ive been pulled over more than 6 times and never been defected. your rego doesnt get cancelled when you get defected anyway. ive been defected in a rodeo with 22s on and the rego wasnt cancelled i just had to ...

cut it just after the front uni and weld some pipe in the same diameter the length you need.then get it balanced at a driveshaft place.if youve done it properly(square) then it should balance fine and wont vibrate.i didnt bother balancing mine and havent noticed any vibration. or get a driveshaft ...

i dgo with the bfg km1s i had them in the 35 on my truck for about 10 months and never had any problems.they were my daily as well as weekend tyres.
they wore really slowly and when i swapped them they still had around 90%.
i paid 900 for all 4

i think there should be a limit as obviously full comp rigs will be running a minimum of 40s and have a big advantage.

sam i got some 6 inch braided lines and i stretch them.
i only have standerd fronts.
just buy the locktup ones theyre 26 inches long and are cheaper than getting them anywhere around here.i paid 85 each locktup is 60 i think
