I got defected on my old BJ42 for the driving lights being too close together. Took them off got the defect notice removed put the lights back on never had another problem. Sometimes I reckon cops juat pull 4WD's over to make up the numbers for the day!

thats right no load no trailer short fwy drive between home and work. Things will change next week when I get my 285 tyres, bullbar and winch fitted. I too was very surprised to get better than the toyota fuel figures!

By the way what sort of fuel ecomony are you getting from your 76 series? I've only done 1200 km (both country and city) and I'm so far averaging 10.5 lt per 100km which in my book is outstanding

Will 285/70R 16 tyres fit a 76 Series without any extra lift

Hi
Looking at changing my 265/70R wranglers for KM2's or similar in the 285/70R size. Will these tyres fit my 76 series without a lift of any kind? Has anyone else done this? My landruiser only just fits in my garage by 65 mm so I need to keep it low for the time being.

I've only had my 76 cruiser now for 2 weeks. Its simply a great car, only done 500 km so i'm no expert on it yet. Off to the high country this easter. Was a big step up from 1997 diesel troopie. I got mine with the double diff lock option, they seen to be alot cheaper (about $800) then ARB air ...
