is the 2.8 air box the same as the 3L ???

The 2.8L airbox is similar but not exactly the same as the 3.0L. I bought a 3.0L lid for my 2.8L airbox. I had to grind a tab/bracket of the 2.8L airbox so that the 3.0L lid would fit. This is not a big deal and took about 30 seconds with the grinder ...
