boys anyone knows the normal distance from axle to bump stop or the spring lenght (on the car)on a disco1 200tdi? i fit new springs from bearmach and the nose looks a couple of cms higher than the rear and also leaning on one side (drivers side mine - passengers yours),the spring lenght is 31 on ...

slunnie a 5link is almost impossible due to space,i will stuck with the 3link and see how it goes,the link is at the machinists shop and will post an image as soon as i can,and then start making the crossmember.

thnx for the replies guys,i contacted ashcroft transmissions to get a price for the factory 4pin diff and at 545 sterlings is not much cheaper than a quaife atb centre diff at 575 sterlings a well proven brand!! but on the other hand you can get a tracktech (detroit)tru-trac diff plus a 4.11 ring ...

p38 diff in disco axle case.

does anyone know if it's possible to fit a p38 4 pin diff into a disco 1 axle case? it's a good upgrade from the standard sick 2 pin diff.
