ive got a leak in the water line that runs back to the rear window wiper, and i need to take off the roof liner, how i do it? it just a case of popping off the plastice circular clip things?? and will they go back in??

my roof lining on the interior of my defender is starting to come off, had a quote for $200 to get it replaced by a guy i know, just wondering if anyone knows where i can get the same type roof lining material from,

i got it back today and man does it feel weird to drive it, the clutch pedal is so unbelievably lite, when i got the defender it was kinda stiff and had to push hard on it, now its like driving the suzuki again, the clutch goes to the floor at the lightest touch, it just doesnt feel manly to drive ...

my brother thought it might be a something slave, and gave it a lil tap and nothing happened,

mate from what you send in the general chit chat, its insured, write the thing off and start again, you pay money to be insured, why go out and spend more money, i can only see more expense and hassle happening if you try and fix it,

yeah my brother saw some 110 station wagons painted in camo colours down at austral land rover, getting serviced,

also saw some running around at the air show last year at amberly air base

when i was down in sydney the alto land rover dealership had a few 110, and 90's and i drove past austral land rover up here in brisbane and they had stacks of them out the front, all looked brand spanking new

I was reading a thread on difflock.com the other day about portal axle conversions ( Volvo's, Mogs etc) and somebody mentioned that LandRover themselves made a whole batch of portal hub conversion kits for their Defender series and then discovered that the market for them was non existant, so they ...

as ive just bought myself a defender i will be needing to know of a good mechanic in the brisbane area,

someone that is reliable, not too expensive and knows what its doing when it comes to land rovers

bought myself a 1998 land rover defender, its been serviced every 10,000kms by land rover, books to prove it,

its got a full roof rack, rear ladder, and snorkel , its got 122,000km on the clock

its in really great condition, dad picked it up for me this morning and will be driving it up next ...

ive been looking at a yay defenders over the weekend, ( yay one step closer to being rid of the zook) and have tried looking up the vin numbers for the defenders, come across one site but just wanna double check it against other sites to make sure its right,

stuee u cant complain too much about space, i got the specs of the defenders, cos im currently very keen to get one, if i get a stock one with standard suspension, my garage door opening is going to be 1and 1/2 inch too short to fit it in the garage, still aint gonna put me off getting such a sweet ...

got any pic of it? be good to take a look at it,

dont get rid of the bits ur taking off, hang onto them and put them back on once you get here

also sounds like a very expensive exercise, but i guess it will be worth it cos ull have a 4by that you dont see very often in australia
