yep have taken the timing cover off , it all seems to be right , i have an old engine here and i have pulled the timing cover off that one to check that the valves were doing the same thing as the reco one . its all good

thats what i thought , but i have pulled the timing cover off and all the timing marks are in the right place .any other ideas?

Hi i have just recently rebuilt my 10,000 warn winch it was just a clean and new brake i didnt touch the motor except to pull it off , and when i went to test it , it wound in ok but when i went to spool out it also wound in .are my solenoids knackered or is the something else going on? any help ...

this didnt ever happen before the pump was up graded, the people who did the pump also put new injectors in at the same time , i would take it back to them but they are in perth and i m now in melbourne .

I have a 4.2 diesel GQ and just recently just had my injector pump upgraded,i went out for the frist time a week or so ago and when driving up a long slipery hill , about 3500/4000rpm the car started to cough and splatter and white smoke came out of the exhaust the revs then dropped bact to about ...

i have recently moved to WA, and my injector pump (Diesel GQ) has started leaking quite bad,i am trying to fine who can fix it and do the modifications to it ie the bigger plunger and all that jazz .Any help would be great

hi I i have just made my wheel base longer and i managed to gain nearly 8 inches and i still have my orignal fuel tank , i just turned it around so the filler is on the other side and instead of the tank bolting up from the bottom i have it so it drops in from above .I had to move the rear cross ...

My friend has a 2003 gu 3 ltr with about 120 000kms and the turbo makes a squelling noise like a belt
is slipping when the turbo kicks in at about 1500 rpm . Anyone got any ideas as what it could be??

i have just replaced the bush on the gear stick and also the one right at the bottem of the stick but now when in gear i can get the stick and move it heaps almost as much as when its in nueturel
, have i not put it back together , or is there something else?

Can anyone help me out here? I have a GQ with GU hubs on it and when under load ie driving arcoss a river the bang as tho they are unlocking and then lockina again . Any ideas?

My brother has bought a schwitzer turbo for his diesel GQ . My question is , it doesnt have waste gate , can he still use it and if so how do you put one on ?, do you need one? any help would be good

yes i have them in my mwb tray(use to be a shortie) i swear by them the ride was a lot softer and the car handled better in genral. took a bit of time to figure out the brckets but if you can get your hands on a lathe then it would make it alot easier . i was running the long travle ome shocks but ...
