I'm doing a resto on a Landy Series 2A, don't know jack about them, but the first problem I have to overcome is the gear box. If I put it in gear and let the clutch out, it makes the mother of all grinding noises. Previous owner tells me he had it "fixed" once already and it didn't last ...

Little bit of mud won't hurt you Ruffy, as I remember you love mud, sometimes taking the time to sit down and really enjoy it. Have fun and make sure he looks after the car a bit so it can go to Ateco!
