When i rebuit my 4.2 i got the engineers to fit the cam bearing when they machined the block,i didn't have the tools to do the bearings so it was much easier to have them do it... Putting in new bearings you will have to check for gaps,thickness,play and all those pain in the but things...i dont no ...

If its near the steering box it is a comin thing on Patrols.i no of about 5 to 6 patrols that have cracked behind the steering box were the panard rod mount is....it will get real bad vidration when driving.most of the time you would hardly even notice it is even cracked....that one shore stands out ...

I did the same thing,thought the water pump shit its self.Got a new one and jamed it in...End up being a pin hole in the bottom of the out let housing to the radiator......They happen a bit apparently

Blow off valve
Putting a blow off valve on diesel is a lot of stuffing around...BOV's need vacume to opperate and a diesel dosent have enough vacume to opperate one...I have seen one set up electricly to opperate of the vacume of the alternater with set stage switchs on the clutch..it worked well released presure ...

B.D.R i run a Wizard 5 link in my GQ with a 7" lift and A arm rear end, swaybar disconnects front and back..Have done for a couple of years now done trip to cape york and couple shooting trips out west it is driven every day for work and have had no problems at all

air lockers
put the locker in the front and get the limo tightend up about 20 thou,works as good as a locker,i done mine and i love it,havent worried about the back......try it is easy to do
