Only the 4runners went to Ifs in 86 and I'm pretty sure hiluxs changed to Ifs in 97 except for the extra cabs which went to Ifs earlier

Just after some help and advice about turboing my 2l its a 85 model with 234000 on the clock everything is running fine would I be safe to run a low-medium boost set up on this motor also a few questions if anyone is a able to help me

Yes same block so in that case the whole system from any Ifs truck running either 2l 3l or 5l should have it covered don't think systems from a petrol model will fit up though

Won't the power steering pump redefine lines etc have to come from a vehicle with a l series motor and then use the odd box from the 4 runner for the high steer

So virtually my best best is to fit power steering first and then get the high steer fitted or would it be easier just doing the whole lot in one hit

trail gear wanted 1600 just for freight for springs and a high steer kit so you will end up better off going through locktup

ok well it looks like i will be going through locktup i got a price for freight only from trail gear for 4 springs and the x over steering kit $1,500 just for freight snake racing are charging minimum $200 more on the same products as locktup so locktup will definately be getting my business

sorry it will be the locktup high steer kit i will be using is it pretty straight forward connecting the ifs steering box or do i need to get pumps, extra pulleys etc connected as well

its got about a 3in lift 33's and just a few little minor things wrong with it no major saftey problems the car still drives fine runs fine and stops fine just having trouble on a couple of minor things it wont be daily driven it will only be driven to tracks and when going away to comps other then ...

i've looked at the suppliers over here but it seems like it is still cheaper to source them from overseas but from them prices it seems like the best option is to organize the freight through a third party
