Had a jaycar kit . Lasted 100 km's got to hot and shat itself. May get around to fixing it one day - and mounting it somewhere a tad cooler than under bonnet.
Now just have a simple switch to turn on charging to aux battery.

I Have 33 10.5 ATs on nissan offset rims with 2 inch lift.

They hit the top on the wheel well on the big dips of the cape road. But a half inch addition to the bump stops has eliminated this

Have a 1995 Petrol/LPG , 95 litre original was removed for the LPG to fit in, Now have a 75 litre LRA tank under drivers side .
Gets 350k/75lt fully loaded and towing on petrol.
Gets 350k/95lt fully loaded and towing on gas.
Best ever was 400k/tank LPG unloaded.

When they put GQ's on gas they usually put a replacement ( secondary )75 litre petrol tank along under the drivers side .
