Re: 4HP24EH to LT230

Why do I believe the motor will fall in half . because Ive seen it , massive cracked block right through the undercut mains . Rover V8 engines are about the weakest engine you could possibly get .(in standard form with no bottom end stregthening. The liners will rattle out , it will overheat like ...

3.9 with a Blower ! anything more than 5psi boost , it will fall in half !!!
So if your very lucky , and run a intercooler and water injection , it might make 300FWHP ? ,and be totally unreliable . WOFTAM !!

It will go alot better if you used twin BLOS mixers , one of them struggles to deliver 200hp , still thats enough for a Rover V8 .Also the OMVL90E is a way superior positive convertor , just trick it up to deliver 5 psi primary pressure . easy to do . The BLOS is whole lot better than choked up GRA ...

You Know as well as i ,That if you had to start from scratch , that $20,000 isnt unrealistic , The NA LS1/2/3 will still eat your Twin turbo rover junk at Less than half the price. Another hint old chap . GRA stuff is probably the worst LPG gear you could use for NA . GRA;s work a lot better than ...

Done lots of those types of swaps , except I use a 38MM DGMS weber , 10 times better than the Holley , but never seen a overheating problem . Check your thermostat , ensure the bleed hole hole is in the right position , fit a Holden 165F stat , is it still running the preheat /choke heat circuit ...

I cant believe someone would spend close to $20,000 to twin turbo a rover V8 to make 400HP . My old Holden motor does better that , naturally aspirated on straight LPG . Unbelievable !!! A LS1/2/3 crate engine for $5000 would absolutely eat it !!!

Yeah , im going to be using a 1000CFM throttle body and VS/VT 808 ECU. tCant get any real power out of the bananas , the engine allready does better than 300KW , so the VS/VT loom should do nicely with a Tunerpro setup. Just wondering about the engine mounts , will the rover ones be strong enough ...

Nottie, as you know with a 9 Inch , you can go fron ratios 2.3:1 to almost 6:00 : 1 , cheaply and easily ,Ive just got 2 9 inch diff centres with 3.8 ratio . if I need a lower gear Ill get someof those rock crawler low range gear sets . I wasnt really going down the road of building some sort of ...

Well I rang Marks 4WD adapters , and as I said the 4l80E is nothing like the 4L60 and they do not and never have made an adapter for the 4L60 . CRS and Dellows said the same , never made anything for the 4L60 . Dont confuse the 4l60 or 4L60E with a 4L80E , thet are vastly diferent ,The 4L80E is ...

Want to fit a Holden stroker to a 88 hi-line RRC

Want to fit a Holden stroker to a 88 hi-line RRC . Will probably inject it using a VS /VT 808 and Tunerpro . Going to use a R380 originally , but I have 2 T700's sitting in the shed as well . It appears that no one does a Transfer case adapter to adapt the T700 to the LT230 . As the T700/4L60 is ...
