Perfect Pj zook,

that is the best & easiest way in my opinion, no need to complicate something unnecesarily.

I'm still looking for some pics of my lux engine bay, they are here somewhere.........

I had a twin turbo 1ggte straight 6cyl in a hilux running a suck though straight gas system, used impco mixers and ran a boost line to the convertor to even out the supply pressure/boost pressure. Never had a problem with that system in 3 yrs & about 70,000 klms with plenty of rough 4x4ing in that ...

I have had the same thing happen with our 80 series, was sitting ina drive thru at a take away shop and it smoked like crazy when taking off. Ours has about 300,000 klms on it with the last 30,000 being on gas. I've also got a valve lube system on it & thought it may have just sucked a heap of that ...

Of them all I'd say the VNv6 was the best actual performer of them in the rough stuff, the 5ltr sounded the best but upset the ...

vn v6 alternator exciting in hilux

Hi everyone, I have just bought an 81 hilux with a vn v6 conversion, only to find the alternator was not charging. I changed the brushes then ended up buying a new reg for it. Still no charge, I then accidently bridged the two wires in the plug at the top of the alternator and it started charging ...
