I'm about to fit a water methanol injection kit to my td42 gu duel cab in a quest for more power, better economy, lower egt's, lower emmisions and engine longevity. Just wondering if anyone else is running water methanol injection or straight water injection and what your experiences have been ...

I'm pretty sure the early 2f and f motor had a larger combustion chamber.

Ive seen it done but because of the rear arches they end up being too close together to fit a fridge inbetween them. you'll know what i meen if you look at your bench and you'll notice that the arches cut into the back of the seat... cool idea thoe!! Wish i still had my old 60...

Just wanted to know if anyone knows the valve to piston clearance in a 2f (valve open of course) so i can get a 2f block decked so i can up the compression a bit from the lazy 8.1 to 1 , to closer to 9.5 or 10 to 1. Or does anyone know of any company making high compression pistons for the 2f. Thanks.

Did you get a coil kit(if so where did you get it from) or build your own kit? Can you post some pics? thank

going to stick with the standard diffs . use +24 offset rims . remove the guards and the panel between the guard and the bonnet and make up tube guards to get some more room (like glen dobbin did to his 45). i want to run around 40 in tyres

Check the ball joints in your steering . I had a couple of cruisers do the same thing , start shuddering between 75 and 80 and wouldn't stop untill you slow back down. Replaced the steering ball joints and they're as good as new.

mabe parabolic springs left as a spring under reverse the front shackels heim joint shackel hangers and extended shackels.

check compression as well if pressure is down it can cause hard start

do you know any one running 4 or 3 link ?

can't decide weather to run spring over , spring under , parabolic or conventional leaf springs. will be a full trailered rig. and want to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible.
