Re: Can TD42 block be used for TB42 engine?

Why would you want to? i dont get it? the petrol has more than enough potential for big hp, or convert to the diesel (your talking changing blocks anyway) a few mods on a standard 4.2td will give plenty of grunt. unless your just trying to do what hasn't been done before, then bravo.........your ...

it will actually stall on cool-cold mornings. at idle it will usually start, then run for 2-3 seconds then slow and stall. to keep it running till it can idle by itself, you will have to give the accelerator light pumps every second. it will sound like a big drag car idling for 30 seconds. then you ...

was told by Nissan that the tall radiators were an update due to the cooling issues some 4.2 TD's were having. they reckon its about 10-15% better than the old one. Only place that has them was Nationwideradiators.com.au. Had to ring them though. Adrad dont stock them yet, and the diesels are ...

I run 3 inch springs with 4 inch shocks no problem. at full flex there is still tension on the spring so it wont pop out.
4 inch springs with 5 inch shocks would be fine, 6-7inch is pushing it without retainers and spring clamps.

I thought he said GU Ute driveline? It should all bolt straight in, aslong as they have the same tranny case. Also the radiators do differ as i have just found out. My plastic header has a mini hole in it, and all the radiator shops are scratching there heads saying "Never seen one like yours" mine ...

I heard the same when i was shock shopping.....and i end up buying the 45mm Boss adjustables (4H.com.au) They are very good so far, and provide exellent adjustment. if they have a down side (as they are a good price too) is that the eyelets are interchangable. (so they come seperate, for individual ...
