Alright i'm getting a bit sick of the horrible yellow dash i seem to have that comes with the series 1's, and my mate's series 2 gq has the factory GREEN, which looks MUCH better. So my question is:

Has anybody put a series 2 dash into a series 1 gq? would i need to modify a series 2 one as i had ...

Re: GQ Factory Rear Swaybar Disconnects

HI MATE, I'VE RELOCATED THE DISCONNECT TO THE FRONT SWAY BAR ON A GQ BEFORE. NEEDS SOME LINK MODS AND A CUSTOM CHASSIS BRACKET BUT IS DEFINATELY WORTH IT. THE DISCONNECT HAD JUST ENOUGH TRAVEL FOR MINE WITH A 6" LIFT. THE CABLE IS LONG ENOUGH AND THE FRONT SWAY BAR MADE A GOOD ENOUGH DIFFERENCE ON ...

Trying to find one of these, help?

I'm trying to find a piece of 12v hardware that i'm not sure whats called. You plug what appears to be a guitar jack plug into it and it bridges the starter circuit in this case, its used as an ignition killswitch.

Re: tube bars and rear bar

Is the rear bar built around the towbar or is the towbar built into the rear bar mate?

GQ Factory Rear Swaybar Disconnects

Alright, i've done a search and its come up zilch so don't do the usual outer 'ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK' but has anyone adapted another rear swaybar disconnect (as in the in cab lever) to disconnect the front swaybar, or has modified the front swaybar to work the same as a rear factory disconnect. Would ...

Guard Cutting

I know its been asked a billion times before and i've searched all 1019 matches but the question hasn't been answered properly. How much can i cut off my front guards on my GQ SWB without cutting the inner guard. Is the rear guard the same?

SAS PAJ

I'm thinking about buying a SWB 3500 5spd NL paj as an offroad only vehicle but if i do, a 3 link SAS would be the first mod.

could you tell me what would be involved in this conversion?

axles off what vehicle has the same width etc? can i just cut the suspension components off the current axle ...

thanks boys, will just drop into millards on the way to work tomorrow and find out, i'm not too keen to go with silverstones, they're fairly soft rubber and can roll off the rim easy at lower pressures i've been told.

Talked to my mate in Bundy today (had the sales rep there the day before) and he said the new patrols will be released in Dubai next year around June, depending on how much stock Nissan still have (in other words if they've got too many older model patrols in stock, we'll have to wait longer)
