it goes on the end of the bell same diameter. about 6mm think and 10mm in section. what im not sure about is how to heat treat them after welding. they are a bearing race witch is harden steel once welded it becomes soft?

Stiffer coils will make a difference but not as much as the shocks. Polyairs will also make a difference but not as practicall with bigger lifts.
I am not a fan of the Rancho and wouldn't recommend the EFS Extremes anymore.

yep drop boxes are 1 of those things that are easy to make but are under huge impact loads so if u cant weld u might have to ask a favour of a mate or pay.

i no towing wont change the gearing but when i tow big loads i use 4th gear not 5th (manual) 2350 would have to b 4th. a tire 2 inchs bigger would drop the rpm a lot more (in 5th) on the highway 100k

i got a gq lwb with a 5l v8 in it currently running 33'' an 4.11 diff gears. im soon going to 35'' and want to no if the highway fuel useages would change much.
it does a 100k at 2450 rpm with 33''. the 35's would drop it down to about 2050 so its less rpm but more load on the motor. i no around ...

id say it chews about 2 amps a hour. thats 900cca not 900 amp/hour but if it was it would b the size of my fridge :lol:

just after a new 2nd battery or maybe a 3rd to run a fridge (40 engel) n lights while camping. i would like to get 2 days/3 nights with out needing to start the car. i was thinking the blue top optima but i feel it has a low amp/hour (66aph) 4 the price. would i b better off with a agm 140 amp/hour ...

I have rubber covering the inner guards at the front wheels, have a tarp shaped to fit the front bar and have silicone around the base of the dizzy, 11mm Eagle leads that have really good sealed ends, MSD box is inside the cab and a snorkel.

91 mod but i do have a 2nd 1 that needs a rebuild. looking at the 2 side by side can u tell if 1 is a latter model. so i figure it might be easyer just go 4 a gu if it fits

im running the same just injected. i had to move the battrey to the back and make a big custom air box in that space with 4'' snorkel. the last thing u wont is a fillter all ready on the small then half full of dust
