I just bought this shorty on the weekend


It won't go into reverser so I took the shifter housing off and if I remove the little linkage from inside then it goes into reverse and works fine. I guess this link stop thing is to stop you going from 5th to reverse, so it'll have to go back in but I can ...

For some reason havent been able to get on this site. Anyway. I dont agree with all the "just put up with it " So I fixed it. The answer was new 2" front kings which have a RH spring with more height and then swapped the backs over (2" OME) and guess what with no one in its 5mil high drivers side ...
