you could get a white marker and before taking the belt off use the white marker and put a mark on the cam gear and the area behind it and the same for the crack then take a photo and then use thes to check it once you put the new belt on and most cars wont go boom if your a tooth or 2 out .... but ...

its only a thought basically it still drives but blowes white smoke on start up because the head has a crack in it once it has pressureised it runs but i dont know how long it will last like this and frankly im over this 4wd ive put all my money into it ive put almost 2twice as much as i have payed ...

my mechanic said my canr came with a daiken clutch (its half toyota) and he got a daiken clutch throught some one else not the dealer worked out to be about $130 for the kit
