personally would love go a turboed FJ20 into a Feroza. But strength issue of gearbox would need to be looked at.

Probably go a hilux gearbox and Xfer, but haven't looked seriously so don't know what would need to be changed over for that to work.

the stuff on it mean nothing. 1) suspension - can't get a Safety Certificate; 2) Body Lift - is it approved by DOT? Specifically, as it wont be covered by Blue Plate for the chop. So if you want to sell it off, take everything off it, and sell it as a clean stocker (well, as stock as a custom chop ...

It's quite clear when you read through that Ben was not having a go at the club or anyone. He was merely asking the question. He got a response on how to possibly achieve the answer he was looking for, and has started acting on that. This is how clubs work, it is not a business. Rules can be changed ...

1) Don't the 80 series have good front end flex anyway.

2) This is specific to an 80 series, so should be in the Toyota Section.

Running the 'right size shock' is a bad idea, you shouldn't be using the shock as a coil retainer. In fact, the shock should never reach either maximum point. This statement is plain wrong, there is nothing wrong with a shock limiting the extension of a suspensions travel. mine Pro-Comps have been ...

Outerlimits is not a club - as such we dont have club runs. Actual 4wd clubs will not want their club only runs advertised on a public forum.

In the trips and tracks section, there are lots of gatherings organised by members of this board of varying levels of 4wding capability.
