Re: Navara cuts out when turning key?help!!
if that works ill go buy a new thicker earth lead. Why? It worked up until now. It's very unlikely that the earth lead is actually damaged. Most likely just some corrosion limiting the amount of current able to pass. Pull off the earth at all points, rub back the lugs and where the lugs bolt down ...

Yep. When you're turing to crank the starter/solenoid drains all the smoothing caps in your electronics and then your lights go out. The lights then come back on after the caps charge again. You're not getting enough current from the battery - my first stop would be earth lead, then fusible link.

remove cage then lay a small weld along the race ... give it a wack and done the heat from the small weld will be enough to release the inner race I've employed this on wheel bearings too lately - Just run a bead around the race with the stick welder and lay the part down, 90% of the time the ...

just a boost gauge will be fine. A boost and vacuum gauge is not required on a diesel as it does not produce a vacuum due to not having a butterfly valve.

Hey Guys, I bought a new winch cable/rope to replace my damaged steel cable on my XD9000. Got a 28m Dynema rope. It has a black protector over the rope. Is that protector supposed to go on the winch anchoring end to protect from the drum and heat OR on the hook/splice end for abraision and UV ...

Re: Detomaso Feroza engine swap...
As stated the ancillaries will need to be changed but the core engine will go in. However the difference will then be about zero unless your old engines cactus. Without the HDEG electronics really the change is mostly in name only. Hope it turns out well. Slight increase in compression (most likely ...

Re: Reverse Gear
Just pop the clutch part way while holding pressure on the gear shift towards reverse. This will allow the teeth to mesh and it should pop in.
There is no 'gear linkage' per se in the feroza as it's straight through the floor into the box AFAIK.

do a bit of googling. The matting type stuff that you glue on isn't too dear, and then there's heaps of different spray on stuff with varrying price ranges and effectiveness. Or at least there was when I looked into it. Never did bother with it though. Your best bet would be some aluminium backed ...

yea but how do i turn the flex plate to get to the top torque converter bolts? If worse comes to worse, you'll have to remove all the bellhousing bolts and rotate the gearbox around. On that note, try supporting the gearbox, unbolting it and sliding it back enough to clear the dowels and then try ...

The MacPherson strut is a type of car suspension system which uses the axis of a telescopic damper as ...

WOFTAM.
Just do the Applause engine or rebuild whats there, sort our the head and get a cam from tighe. The Detom has slightly more compression, but is also set up to rev higher.
To answer your original question, all the ancillaries will bolt on/off between the two.

A bit of lateral thinking would place 2 CVT mirrored over each "axle" (not quite accurate, but to give location), 1 CVT per wheel. Both CVT's could track each other for the gross movement of ratios and you could tweak the individual ratios for a differential type effect.. Doing this for all 4 ...
