installing a TB42

My mate just blew a hole in the side of his block in a TB42 patrol and is very short on cash. How hard is it to replace the engine with another TB42 but with the EFI stuff on it. The idea is to buy a good TB42e and rip off all the efi stuff and put his carbi and lpg mixer back on. Also what price ...

new gen sprint gas mixer - air box options

Has anyone made an air box to suit it or is there a simple solution like an air box off some Holden/ford that will bolt straight on or with some ...

When i turn on my air locker to engage it, then turn it, your supposed to hear this pssst, then the locker releases all the air. Now mine does not do this. Can you which part of the locker do i need to replace/adjust/clean. Does it hurt the locker if this does not happen. However the locker still ...

Its been a while since i did mine but im pretty sure that you can do it on the car and is a piece of piss to do. Just undo the 50 million bolts holding it on, scrape off the old gasket and replace it with a new seal or just buy the stuff in the tube (gasket goo or something like that). then replace ...

ive got 37 too and they dont scrub with 2"+ 2". but i had to extend the bump stops 1.5" and you will need to have custom wheels or wheel spacers as the top of the tyre will touch the inside of the wheel well at the back, regardless of what size rubber. as for the front i think my tyres rub on the ...

another thing i have found is that on the beach the petrol engines would over heat if worked too hard. but a diesel will do it all day, but the petrol engine was more capable on the beach with the extra power and the auto. i don't like the mud so if i was to do it again i would go petrol auto for ...

the locker will cost 1800 and a uhf will cost about 350 and a winch will cost about 500 for a second hand low mount.

then if you want gears buy em for 850-1000 and install em your self. i knew nothing about gears but i decided to rip it all apart and if i could not do it take the bits in to the ...

i agree too that none of the above are suitable. If its a play rig like mine you could not go past the simex's. simexs are still leagal on the road but i think swampers are illegal. i run boggers on the road and have not had any trouble but i still sweat every time a pig passes by and have been ...
