i think the price for the reco 3.5 is a decent price however the price on the 2nd hand engines is way over the top. so id be goin the reco 3.5 then you know its done you will have a warranty itl give you years of worry free motoring, the 3.0ltr is nowhere near as good as the 3.5 there not a bad ...

Another thing is, do your mates have 4wds? If they dont they generally want to tag along on trips, so a swb might get a bit cramped that was 1 of the main reasons i bought a shortie lol maybe im just a bad mate hehehe honestly though mate swb is great i have a gen1 shortie and i love it i had a 97 ...

thought id throw up some updated pics the last pics i put up of my rig were taken the week after i bought it pretty much stock. mods now inlcude custom front bar, 33" bighorns on 15x8 rims, britax front spotties and 4x narva roof mount spotties on custom made light bar, 2" suspension lift, 2" body ...

can be done very easily as iv been in the minitruck scene for nearly 10 years i know countless guys that run an a/c comp instead of a 12v pump they work well so long as there maintained they are nowhere near as efficient as a dedicated properly designed air compressor but can work well..

Land rover discovery mate. Coil springs lots of aftermarket parts available diesel engine is same as defender and there cheap.... Otherwise I'd go paj tdi as I personally think as good as patrols and toyotas are there not worth the asking price but that's just my opinion....
