I thought mine were rooted. i ended up pulling them apart and regreasing them as the grease had hardened. They work a treat now. so try that before ya go wasting ya coin

RB30 CARBY TO EFI HELP
Hey guys a mate of mine just bought a gq with an RB30 carby motor.
now we have an RB30 efi motor here that we wanna take the EFI of and use in his car. has anybody done this conversion before? Is it as simple as changing the manifold over,the dizzy,wiring harness and ecu?

ok guys. i pulled the cv out today and its fine. then i pulled the freewheel clutch and axle out and i have snapped an axle. the stub shaft is twisted but the gears in the freewheel clutch unit are fine. so im gonna try find some c/m axles and throw in a locker

wb800- i pulled the vac lines off the solinoids and it didnt change a thing.
im thinkin its either a drivers side axel or cv. but then im unsure if it is as the car drives fine and makes no noise just no 4wd. the axel turns with the plenatry gear on the drivers side but no wheel movement which says ...

is it only because of the way the paj is weihted? as 2 friends, one is a sierra and one a 60 series both have welded fronts and they dont have that problem.
Also i have a problem with not getting 4wd. i have replaced solinoids,4wd ecu, all connectors and vac lines, the actuator shaft is moving ...

hey guys i am thinking of doing a free wheeling hub conversion on my 97 2.8 paj. is it as easy as getting triton/early paj hubs and bolting them on? also is my front diff weldable to a locker? cheers guys

if anybody would like me to make some of these cap bolts i can do it for you. i can also do the blocks or a complete kit for you. i also make drop shackles and am in the process of making lockable scissor shackles. just PM me

yeah the main reason i toom mine out were cos they were pretty shagged. they measured about 18mm-22mm

hhmmmmm mine looks different to that. i took my rubber mounts out and replaced them with my 2" lift

if its a diesel you can use the standard bolts except the 2 front ones. i say this cos they already have a factory body lift.

PJB yeah we pulled the switch out and ran a test on it. in perfect working order. checked the wiring all over the place and checked ever conncetor to. but yeah havent done a vac test on the actuator it self i should try that. hopefully mitsubshi find something and its an easy fix

thanks njv6. we tried that on the weekend and the shaft moves and there is vac at the lines. any other ideas. im taking the car to mitsubishi on thursday for a diagnostic test for $55 hopefully they find something or im burning the car lol

hey guys i got a 97 diesel pajero and its giving me flashing lights syndrom.
now i have searched and searched. so far i have replaced the solinoids,vac lines,checked the diff sensor, the actuator shaft and ecu. cleaned all the connectors on the transfercase. any body got any suggestions

hey guys a friend of mine has just bought a 1985 sierra.
we are just wondering if the rear diff is weldable or is it an lsd?
also whats the best way to get some lift for the old girl. he is on a low bugdet but we can make drop shackles,brackets etc any help will be great thanks guys

hey guys just asking for a mate of mine.
is it possibe to fit a 35" tyre with a 2"lift and 2" body lift?
also is there anything to look out for when doing the body lift? ie do we need a steering extender and do we drop the radiator or is there a shroud cut out on them? thanks heaps guys

Hey guys again. i just picked up my paj this week and am very happy with it.
i have been told on here that my car being a 2.8 td already has a factory 40mm body lift? is this true? is it just the rubber mounts between the body and chassie or do all pajeros have this?
