cheers for that info slowsierra weber is now on and running had to fab up a throttle bracket and fiddle around with afew lines after hydrolockin to engine and filling it full of petrol but its now running well and up to jetting and tune stage so thanks heaps for chasing that link gonna come in ...

hey slowsierra ive just been given a 32/36 weber from a mate, bought an adapter plate so up to install stage havin abit of trouble figuring it all out though lol (im not much luck with petrol engines). ive got a 2inch exhaust on it with 1 muffler which is soon to be replaced with a hotdog and a set ...

make sure theres no water in your tyres i had a massive wobble problem for ages and spent $$$$ replacing everybush and bearings and seals and still didnt didnt fix it till i got rims changed over i had a heap of water in my tyres......also another mate with a GU had a bad wobble problem too happend ...

hey just wondering if its possible to weld up (and lock) the rear lsd? as im pulling mine out for a reshim this weekend but got thinking if this is possible might be abit easier.... Anyone out there done this before?

hey ive been thinking of the same thing with sliders fouling i was thinking when i get around to doing mine making the rear arms inverted onto the inside of the chassis i think it should work well still but i also wanna run an A frame too

don't get a Powertrax Lockrite i had one, blew it to pieces get a 4WD Systems locka, they gurantee them with any engine, any tyre size, so you can't go wrong, if you blow it up, they replace it. x2 stay aussie and strong........ :armsup: not something that comes from the states thats probably made ...

hey man just had the same problem before my alternator beeped itself... try changing your earth lead it put a new one on i did that and it was sweet.... i got reds and everything but as soon i turned the key it just clicks if there ur same symptems thats what itll more likely be... cheers jez

haha success :lol: ........ dont worry fellas im just being blond again.... i didnt look at my wiring harness under the bonnet properly its already had the wiring adapter on it for the no name alternator so i unplugged it and it was the right connection after all stupid me sorry for the ...

my altinator in my td42troll has pooep itself today and ive picked a 2nd hand one up off a mate but the plug at the back is different... mine has 3 prongs round hole and my new one has 2 prongs and more of an oval shaped hole.. how do i go about wiring it up to my harness and what is the 3rd wire ...

4.2 are the better option especially for turning 35s the 2.8 motor are basically a ticking time bomb......although some do get lucky with but they are known for unexpected problems..totally up to you though your best bet is to tack both types of cars for a test drive and see what fits you best...

how ya goin when i owned a lux i had 35/14.5.15 tsl thornturds on it and all i did was 2 inch body lift and extended shackles and it sweet...only just hit front springs on full lock

hey guys im having troubles with my breather line running from my filler... where abouts are they suppose to run to??? as the previous owner to me has just run a garden like hose down to my rear diff which leaks out onto my diff on a full tank??... cheers
