200 000 km question

I have a 99NL 3.5l Pajero

It's hit 217 000.

I had the belts done at 200 000 and have since read that the Water Pump needs to be done as well.

What else should I do ( Not to flushed for funds)

It's had Mobil 1 thru it since I've had it and done every 15 000 km

Small correction. That body shape only went to 96 (I think), it stopped at the model NK. NL Have a big, boxy square looking gaurds but are other wise nearly identical. GLS is the middle of the range. Exceed is the top of the range, I think you'll find it pretty rare to find an Exceed in a shorty ...

15" rims dont fit, front brakes too large. Calipers hit the rim.

That must be the GLS.

The GLX came with them as standard.

Allan, I use Mobil 1 Synthetic, in our 99NL, as we clock up a lot of K's. It costs more but worth it. I do my oil changes every 15000 as per the manual.

To remove the Bash plate you have to remove 4 bolt, 3 for mine as I snapped one a year ago.

Engine advice.

I have a 99nl Pajero with a 3.5l sohc engine. It is just about to hit 170,000 km's. We bought it roughly 2 years ago second hand. It had 80,000 in the clock. We log a lot of K's as we live in the country. I worried about the amount of K's we clock up. I use Mobil 1 Synthetic and change it every 15 ...
