Heed the advice of these guys. It's seriously heavy going once the storms start. Don't even think about the rivers yet - check out the main road - you can drive the family wagon to Weipa in the dry but you'll be working hard & slow in 4wd after a couple of storms & the rangers & council ...

Thanks vitarajim, I tried the Nulon last oil change & it seemed to take the edge off the noise (or was it all in my head???). I might try a few different additives like the Lucas stuff humphey tried....or some fluffy floor mats.....or a 6.5 Chev & extractors......
