I had 2 front towing eyes installed by ARB to my Defender with std L/R factory bar. They removed bar to fit and reinforced with 6 mm plate. Eyes mounted outboard of chasis rails but level with them. Put ome springs and nitrochargers on my Defender 6000 Ks ago and am very happy with them, no swaybars and bodyroll is better than standard suspension with much better offroad performance.
