as long as it complies with NCOPS and your have the report, certificates and plates everything should sort at the pit inspection..

I am considering buying a vehicle from QLD....
I live in ACT
The vehicle's modification and certificates pertain to NSW and QLD
DO I have to get it re-engineered in ACT
or do i just get it re-certified at an engineers

ive got a 4L60 (non-e) in a coaster bus and it goes very very well of the mark...on the highway the final ratio could be more or i could put smaller wheels on it as the wind resistence plays a big factor with an economical overdrive... ive considered the three speed but too much fiddling to make it ...

many thanks for your comment OR.... ive just finished fine tuning it...it's got a stage2 transgo with o/size valves, servo etc, a superior shaft etc inspite of all the goodies i completely agree about the weight vs HP for this box, but im not sure if anything short of a true truck drivetrain would ...

What's wrong with my Turbo 700R-4/4L60 Tranny - pics incl'd
I am rebuilding my THM700R-4 transmission. It goes into a heavy 4x4 Coaster bus with 350chev engine the symptons where... No power in reverse, ie, would engage but slip then slip like crazy... 1-2-3-OD fine, not sure if lock-up was engaging... First-gear overrun - ie, no engine braking... Front pump ...

My THM700R-4 is cactus, reverse engages but slips crazy... I am trying to get my head around which tranny to buy, how to physically identify it and the differances in the range... i want to avoid V6 T7's, however if i have the v6 varient fitted i would not know... I would be better-off to repair ...

hi all, im looking for information on a THM 700R-4 transmission and its variants. my THM 700R-4 was cooking when i bought it and despite a pan drop fluid and filter change it finally went.. however 1,2,3,4 & OD are not affected so im wondering how bad it will be... I can't find some critical info ...

grew up in briso... and that's sort of how the bus looks, it's gassy old, bold & loud beast... it's so much fun i burnt reverse out on the blackall ranges over the weekend :) :twisted: :) ... reverse was going anyway, i've not had it long and was prolly the fault of the difficult to find reverse on ...
