Re: SD33 to SD33 Turbo- what to do

the only real difference between the Na and the turbo engine is the oil pump. the turbo engine runs a slightly bigger pump. I made a mistake, engines before 1983 can vary between Na and turbo and this concerns mostly the cylinder head and not present oil jets for cooling pistons and pistons pre 83 r...

Re: SD33 to SD33 Turbo- what to do

Bottom end for sd33 Na and Turbo are both the same after 1985 The only difference between the Na and the turbo is the oilfeed for the turbo and oil return. Lots of people run a aftermarket turbo on a Na and if you keep the boost within factory specs there should't be a problem. But if you blew the h...

Re: PATROL MQ C 200 AXLE SHAFTS

The best option to aquire a half shaft is to just contact your local nissan dealer and order them.
Nissan partnumber 39100C7400 for the RH side and 39101C7400 for the LH side.

I've never snapped one in ten years.
Don't run full locker in the front that's best.

it's good to know the oil pump is different between N/A and SD.
I got me a spare N/A to rebuild as an SD in case the original SD is going to retyrement.

try and tap it out with a pry bar from the other side.
last option is to break it with a screwdriver but this is only if everything else fails.
the outer ring is made of hardened steel an you wil damage the stub and the new bearing won't fit properly.

probably blocked breather tube.
it is the small rubber hose on top of the axle.
When driving the axle and oil heat up and expand and can build up pressure which is vented by the breather tube.

drive flange seal

Hey there folks,
I was wondering how to exchange the drive flange seal in the front diff of a y60 since it is leaky.
Can I just loosen the locknut and pull off the flange or wil my pinion drop out?
