if its mainly going off road go the 37's. that many holes have been chewed out by 35's now you need bigger tyres. there is a GU in last months 4x4 action magazine with 37's and only has 65mm of lift and running hydrulic bump stops.

hey trev1 i just turboed a 2h and it is sweet, got a manifold from ROTAMASTER in melbourne, used a t60 turbo rated at 550hp, put the snorkle on the left hand side, ran a oil feed from the block and an oil return straight down to the sump. the only tricky bit was the dump pipe, i used one of a rb30 ...

have a look at chev 2500 dual cabs, a bit bigger than a standard 4x4 but they make mince meat of 5-6 tonne loads. a 2003 or later are great tow veichles and about the same price as a v8 cruiser. look up VICTORIA AMERICA IMPORTS in vic. and they also have allison auto transmission TUFF AS !!!

get a gq with either a 3.0 or a 4.2 Both turbo charge easy as. I know three people running standard rb30 motors with turbos on them and they run great. one of them got the motor re-built as a turbo motor and that thing runs 25psi all day. lift kits, motors and spares in general will be cheaper ...

Any good clues about the bigger valves in the heads?? I posted about this a while ago and didn't really get any good ideas about how to go about the job. I realise that I'll have to buy new valves and seats, but which ones, and how big can you go? I'm looking at a 2H also, rather than the 12H-T, if ...

2h turbo manifolds

after looking around for ages i found a place that can get a turbo manifold at a reasonable price. Rota-master in somerton, melbourne. they can get turbo manifolds for lots of things and are great to deal with. mine was $495.00. pretty good seeing how AXT wanted $3300 for a kit.

my mate put a kit from ARB on his 1hz with 250,000kms on it about 18months ago. not a single problem. 3months ago changed the recomended turbo ARB supplied to a T04-z and a top mount intercooler. running 13psi and it loves it. it now has 290,000kms on the clock.
