its not the altinator mate its only on when i put the indicator on, and i have to be accelerating at the same time, altinator is still charging fine, does anyone else have any ideas?

is it a new starter because it sounds like it is stuck on you could have wired it wrong but it could be your ignition switch sticking i would replace that if thats the prob.

i currently own a shorty paj and have found that in the off road it is much more capaple then he lWB i put a 2 inch body lift in mid and can fit 33's if i can find a pair. where abouts do you live maybe i can trade you my 31" at for your 33's on your lwb. but if i were you i would get rid of the lwb ...

a couple of things im going to ask starting from the very basic, are you moving the 4wd lever into 4wd? if you are are you reveresing about a meter then driving forward, this engages the front hubs, since your lights dont come on i think your not putting it into 4wd properly, if all this still ...

the pajero is accually quite a reliable vehicle. the 2.5 turbo is famous for breaking cam shafts. you would be better off with the petrol 2.6 or v6, but its an old vehicle and you prob wont ever get rid of all the creeks and noises

yea the little 2.6 revs out at about 6000 but i put the limit to 4000 so i dont keep over doing it lol i got a turbo for it off of an old triton but it needs to be rebuilt which is about 300$ that i dont have

yea ive talked to a few auto lekies, and found out about a brushless altinator or an oil cooled altinator, both are more resistant to water and mud, but its a 2.6 and its in the bottom left corner or the motor, the vehicle does have a little bit of a lift but, the depth of water that i go through ...
