Found some very cheap tyres brand new 750 r16 mud terrain 16 ply with 6ply sidewall for $200. They have the funniest name ever and are called,

Is that a dry dock launching trolley or is it a proper road going trailer with springs (I can't see any springs on there)? Plenty of people at our yachty use the launching trolleys purely for getting the boat in and out with less maintenance than a true road going trailer.

Thanks for the reply.

I can't really comment on where the hilux rims have all gone - sorry.

The reason I ask regarding these IFS Cruiser rims is because I'd like to run a set of these on my solid axle 105 series with some play tyres.
I believe I require 16 inch rims due to clearance issues with ...

100 series IFS steel rims onto solid axle

I'm interested to find out if it's possible to cut the centres from 100 series IFS steel rims, flip them, then reweld the centre to give a similar offset to factory solid axle steel rims.

I've heard of this being done previously, but from what I can see, I don't know if it can be done.

Can ...

100 series keyless entry problem

Can anyone shed some light on where in the vehicle (105 series Cruiser wagon) the keyless entry command unit is?

The reason why I ask is that my button doesn't work particularly well at all and I have to wave the button over the bonnet for it to ever work. If I have to go through that much hassle ...

They're nominally a 34 but most will measure in the 33's. (They actually calculate at 33.3) 285/75/16's are over 33 anyway so it will be close enough IMHO.

We used one as a spare for 34" swampers for ages.

I wouldn't bother on a camper.
It's something which is left out to the elements so much that the paint will soon start to flake off and it will look worse than you think it does now.

first question are your spring hangers welded directly to the rhs? If so i would be more concerned about them tearing the wall out of the rhs than your drawbar failing.

They are for sideways strength because such a tall narrow drawbar is joined on the narrow edge. These are fine to add as long as they are welded to plates instead of directly to the drawbar sides themselves.

Can't you just let the air out of all 4 tyres? Wouldn't this drop the whole car 6 inches or so? Once the engine is out you could just air them up again and continue working on any other part of the vehicle.
