Have just completed the same swap, but still retained the old 30 amp loom. I figured if there was going to be some serious amp draw then the 30 amp fuse would blow, it was designed to protect the original circut anyway?

It has been in a month and have used it frequently with no issues :D

The Snake racing kit is designed for a hilux not a spring under landcruiser.

Well they sold it to me for the intended vehicle "yeh it will fit" good job I have a hilux project after I finish this one..... ;)

Just mocking up my front end, and the tie rod has about 2 inches of up travel before it hits on the frame when there is 5 plus inches between the diff and the bump stop. Need a flat steering arm?

What experiences have people had fitting high steer? i want as much up travel as I can, Considering ...

Air locker comes with very good instructions.

You need a good torque wrench (normal scale),

A dialindicator with stand, for setting backlash

a low scale torque wrench or an accurate spring scale(fishing type)

Here is another bit of info.... My FJ70, (1990) originally fitted with a 3f, and h55f gear box has a high pinion front diff (75 series) with a rear drum diff with the 75 series casting center....... Must have been in the change over.

100 too 110, have a look at the comp cars, rangies, extended pootrols ect all fall within the 100 to 110, keeping the diffs close to each end also help. Break over angle also comes into it.... LWB vehicles have trouble climbing over logs ect where they excell on climbs.... Just my 2c's

Yep thats the new bible......... My build up is based on the NCOP.... you will fin Engineers in vic are using this..... There is still some room to move, but the killer is 33's are the max size :)

Drove into vic roads and all good!

Aftermarket turbos on 4x4's are a bit of a gray area, Plenty of shops will bolt them on, they will then get road worthied and on sold.... All illegal!!!!! if you read the vic roads bulliten on modifications it states that all turbos need engineering approval..... What the problem is emmissions ...

They are worth a small fortue, even from the wreckers, about $500 new and about $300 from the wreckers..... :shock:

The float is a rubber/plastic material and makes contact accross two thingys, will post pic if i get a chance.

Common prob with them is that the outside plastic electrical terminal ...

Just go to the local hyrdaulic shop.... smc air ram with an internal spring http://www.smcworld.com/2002/bp_e/content/init0405.html additional arb solinoid too easy. Add the ability to pin in the up and down position incase air fails.... ;)
