Oh hey, I forgot to add......
My Prado, even though it was an ok car, just didn't have the same drivability that the disco has. It suffered hugely from turbo lag when you sink the boot. The TDi needs to be serviced every 5000km!! they won't tell you that when you buy it, the Jap diesel motor ...

I've had the 03 Prado TDI and now an 01 Disco TD5. The Prado was good, and yes very uncomfortable driving position, I do up to 35000 clicks a year and for a basic seat in the PlayDoh, no lubmar support etc on standard or even GLX model, I suffered with back problems till I got the Disco. I'm looking at a Disco 2001 - 2003 vintage TD5 Auto. Have been looking around at a few. Any issues to look for. I hear the radiators can be an issue. Anyone else having problems on new series Prado's especially front left?
