Re: 4.2 Injector pump for Big HP
I understand that I have not been as active on outerlimits4x4.com as I have been previously, primarily due to being force to part with my short wheel base GQ nissan patrol. I have, however, been actively watching this most amusing topic and I have let out many a chortle. Admittedly my interests were ...

I was thoroughly impressed with the auto locker in the front of my pootrol and I gave it some grief on 35" MTRS. I will always think that the most elegant diff lock option is something you can switch on/off as you desire and it is difficult to argue against that, but $$$$$$$ can be a pretty good ...

Every suspesnion and steering part is brand new, 16mm longer lowers and adjustable uppers with a brand new double cardinal, gearbox lowered 15mm. Before this I had 3 inch lift with gearbox lowered 15mm ...

My td42 NA was around 14l/100km... and it didn't change much when I threw a turbo on it. Generally hovered between 13 - 14l / 100km. I Am currently rebuilding the thing but don't expect it to change.

In a typical driveshaft setup (ie; two uni's) the two outputs must be parallel to alleviate vibrations. As you have mentioned in a lifted vehicle the operating angle of the driveshaft may be too steep which will cause driveline vibrations. You can try to get around this be using raised engine mounts ...

This may seem like a silly question but is your turbo a hi mount..
For a hi mount setup I had no problems using a t piece into the side of the block for oil return. It saved some effort but I still think the sump is a more elegant approach...

I find myself coming back here because I got my shorty back... weird... anyways. Although you might have the transfer and pinion angles parallel or withing 2? degrees, you may find the angle is a bit steep for the U-joint hence the growl... Or maybe your outputs are still out ? If you have a mate ...

Stripe of Metal drill a few holes and move the bracket up some, usually around the height of the new suspension lift.
I wouldn't have thought a body lift would cause a problem with this though, engineer doing pcp ?
