Mate a cummins 6BT would be unreal, be prepared to toughen up the front diff. Also would need to look at things like brakes and front suspension due to the weight of the beast, also what gearbox to use. I have been dreaming about putting a cummins in my patrol for ages.

Beefed up GU's would be the best you could go with if you wanted to stay within that sort of budget. Brace the housings,e-Lockers, Cal's and standard rear axles.

Mate for that sort of money I would be throwing that turbo on for sure! Looks pretty well suited to a TB45 and is similar to an XR6 sized turbo (which is about right)

Can any one recommend where in Sydney I should get a snorkel bent up in stainless for patrol? Was gonna try a exhaust shop like Liverpool or something, any ideas?

Have you taken out the seat belt bolt that come through the guard and rubs on the tyre and cut it down? mine was rubbing really bad but once i cut that down it was heaps better

Thanks for the help mate, just looking at taking advantage of the US dollar and buying a couple thing from the states. Thought maybe I could get some bilsteins for the front of the shorty... Just hard because they don't have patrols over there

Hey guys looking at possibly running some Bilstein 5125/5150 in the front of my patrol. Question is what valving suit a patrol? I have found some 255/70 valved shocks, how will these be on my gq swb 4.2 petrol? I'll either make new mounts to suit eye to eye setup or run pin to eye adaptors. Any help ...
