check the contents of what you use on the canvas. Any thing that contains silicone is not recomended. once you start using it ya cant stop. if you stop the silicone dries out and allows it to shrink and crack. Remember what the soft dash in ya parents old falcon or commodore looked like after 10 ...

this is all good info cus i just got a soft top for my 1.0 and its in a bad way and the windows look all fogged up any one know of some thing to make the windows clear again Hmm, they may be scratched in which case need to be replaced if they bother you too much. The guy that makes the Austop brand (Wayne) tells me the best thing to use to protect both the top and the plastic windows is Turtle Wax Wash and Wax. So once you've scrubbed the mud and dirt off, wash it down with the Turtle wax stuff inside and out and it'll leave a protective film once you rinse ...
