check the contents of what you use on the canvas. Any thing that contains silicone is not recomended. once you start using it ya cant stop. if you stop the silicone dries out and allows it to shrink and crack. The guy that makes the Austop brand (Wayne) tells me the best thing to use to protect both the top and the plastic windows is Turtle Wax Wash and Wax. So once you've scrubbed the mud and dirt off, wash it down with the Turtle wax stuff inside and out and it'll leave a protective film once you rinse ...
