Re: Audio amp location in series2 4runner?
All very good points. Thanks for the input. I think ill pass on mounting under a seat, as some have said - would create problems during water crossings. Back of the rear seat is a possibility, however, when going away i always fold the rear seats flat. Such a good feature of the cars, as it ...

Re: Audio amp location in series2 4runner?
Thanks. That certainly does help. I thought about roof mounting it, but was worried about piercing the roof.
If anyone else knows of other mounting area's, please feel free to advise.

Audio amp location in series2 4runner?
Looking to put my audio amp in my 93 4runner, its a largish amp.
just wondering if anyone has done this and where they put it? Ive thought of a few spots to mount it, but wondering if there are any better ideas floating around. Finding it difficult to think of somewhere to put it so its concealed.

Re: V6 4runner aftermarket extractors and exaust?
ultimately, the 1UZ would be the way to go. but, thats if you have the 5K+ to spend doing the conversion. im curious as to how much the headers and exhaust did for the cars performance? im not so much wanting the car to be fast, im more interested in off-road performance and most importantly ...

Re: V6 4runner aftermarket extractors and exaust?
damn, that sounds like a job..
i was quoted $1600 and thought that was a bit steep, hence, here i am here asking questions.
perhaps the $1600 isnt too far out. may be better off putting the cash towards a 1UZ

I presume you mean the 4runner V6 not the surf, I dont think they made the surf's in a v6. just out of interest, why would you think the 4runner v6's are the worst toyota has made? im quite curious rather than sturring the boat. I just bought a v6 4runner. im curious about what to look out for and ...

stainless steel snorkels?
Just wondering if anyone knows someone in melbourne who fabricates these snorkles.
Most people have been saying they make them themselves, id struggle to find the time.
