Is there any way to tell what model chassis it has from the chassis number?
Ie D21, D22 etc?
And yes it does have a chassis.

I haven't seen the Terrano but I'm guessing it's a T2.
Pannelbeaters have told him the chassis and everything is straight but camber is way out and can't be adjusted(?).
His missus wants to end the Terrano after so much frigging around but he wants to finish it.
My missus wants the Navarra gone ...

Terrano on Navara chassis?

As above. Will a '97 Terano body fit on a '95 Navara chassis?
Navara body is rusted to buggery and the motor blew 12mths ago so wont get back on the road.
A mate has a Terrano bought as a repairable write-off but can't get the steering geometry fixed to pass for a blue slip(NSW)
Thought I might sell ...

Tyre problems

I am running 31/10.5/15 Kumho AT's on standard rims @ 40psi. They are wearing badly on the outside.
I had the wheel alignment checked on the weekend and it came up spot on.
Tyre guy said it was because the tyres are too big for the vehicle. 267/70's are smaller diameter and width. 31's are ...

Sunroof very slow

Sunroof on my NH is very slow and laboured to open and shut. It's been getting worse for about 6 mths now. If you hold the button and push the roof it will move easily.
Do the tracks need greasing? If so, with what sort of grease/oil.
I've also noticed a bit of rust in the front sunroof surround ...

Off Road Industries quoted me $4000 for a 4" lift on my '92 NH. A bit steep when 2" was $1600. I saw a picture of a 4" triton a while back,
looked great, but the torsion bars hung down below the chassis.

I don't know why I didn't think of it? Mine doesn't have an existing switch, but this shouldn't matter. I'll try it this weekend and let you know :D
Many thanks

Power aerial switch

Is there any way to fit a switch to aerial for manual up and down when offroad? I've busted one allready, and it would be nice to listen to cd's or radio when on a tight track.
Thanks

Dave.

MontyMcV,
Not a bad idea, I hadn't thought of that. We call them wreckers out here. But to get second hand shocks in good condition I'd have to find an NL with adjustables. So the question is, did these models have adjustables and would they fit an NH?

Thanks for that.
Bugger the Mitsubishis!! I like the idea of adjustable shocks, is there much difference between the rest? Also do you need an adjustable panhard rod with 2" to re-align the rear diff or is there no difference. Sorry for all the questions but I'm new to all this!

I'm planning to do a 2" lift soon. My GLS is a tri pac, originally adjustable suspension. The shocks have been changed to standards in the past. Can rancho, tough dogs, konis etc be hooked up to the original adj. suspension, or are they special units? If specials are they much more expensive and was ...
