spoke with the mitsubishi mechanics and they recon thats what it is so just gotta pull it apart to check would be nice if you are correct tho.

mate the spring on the timing belt tensioner was slowly deciding it was not up for the job and after a crankshaft seal replacement started her up and it was like a tractor then nothing. bent valve stems i think so big job to get the old girl going again but iv got a tj jeep now so i can take my time ...

so i had an oil leak from the front crankshaft pulled it all off replaced the seal and put it all back on tightened everything up and started her up. made sure the timing belt went on the same way with all the marks lining up to where they where previously and proceded to start her up started first ...

sucks about your licence i was on a suspension 4-5 years back and got done driving, automatic 2 years and $660 fine. so as tempting as it may be just dont drive on the road bro. get some one else to drive there then take over.

mate have a look at the maxxis range decent muddies and a reasonable price but you will still have to drop your pressure iv got the buckshot 31x10.5r16 and i always run max 23 but usually 18psi when im off road much better grip and a more comfy ride over the bumpy shit

57oky iv had to pull the batteries and radiator out to try find n oil leak ill take some photos of the battery tray tomorrow and post it up with some measurements so you can make one of your own. mine are just hooked up in parallel but will get a proper management system when the funds approve

bakerboy just herd back from the conversion guys and it will be for the vs to vy comm engine so hope that includes the gen3 5.7l v8 with the 6sp box will be a huge job but will be very satisfying when i have the end result

theoretically you can push until the suction nozzle is out of the water... For me you should also make waterproof electrical system... I've seen many times 3.0V6 (generally gasoline powered off road veichles) with electrical problems during or after a ford... Diesel ones are less sensible to water ...
