Front shaft is now out and the movement from under the car has gone so much nicer to drive I will be doing the part time conversion as soon as I can and if the car gets any better fuel consumption well that will be a bonus. Once I have done the conversion I will post whether I get any better fuel ...

Thanks to all for the info great help and yeah the car is a 105 with no abs didn't no there was much difference between the two any way I will take the front shaft out and see how it goes before spending any money.

Hi I have bought a pair of GU diffs for my GQ the only problem was the rear was a H260 as I all ready have a 4.6 rear centre with air locker in it which is a H233 . I have a 2.8 td patrol with reduction gears in the transfer case, and i also have a s w b patrol with a 4.2 petrol in it. I want to swap the transfer cases over from one car to the other. Is this posible to be done can anyone let me no thanks.
