If an independent/local 4wd shop was smart, they could consider the marketing appeal with such an eye catching vehicle like this will be, to get more girls like Haley into DIY 4wding by sponsoring her with say- some recovery gear or even a set of new boots for the zook! Of course the obligatory ...

I'm not an expert on ignition, but there's mechanical and electronic ignition. I assume that the moving engine engages a mechanical ignition, allowing it to start, but with electronic- you need a power source to fire up the engine, even if you're push/roll starting it? I like the idea of a crank ...

Hi Spike, I see your point, but I think you may have missed Steve's amongst it all perhaps? Steve was trying to say, I think, that he would use a front loop over/instead of a poorly mounted chassis hook- i.e. only bolted to one wall of it without bracing/crush tubes. And not that a properly mounted ...

Interesting comparison Graeme, TJ flares and garden edging... One is significantly cheaper, but I think quite agricultural in appearance and will just rip out on moderate contact with a rock or embankment  Mine don't appear 'tacked on', I've actually sprayed the previously visible arch black so ...

as for the tj flares im not really keen on the shape unless i use rears all round. i still dont know why its soo hard to get some some simple big flares for our cars. Why use rears all round and what's the issue with the look? Bang for buck really, approx $250-400 for a whole set second hand. TJ ...

Morning guys, doing my locker seal in the front diff tomorrow as it's no worky atm and was wondering if you can upgrade the components for a longer lasting one than the earlier ones? How aggressive is the tread pattern on your tyres champ? It may just be the tyre lugs as you take off and come to a stop making that rumble bud if it's only happening in first gear. Simple answers can sometimes alleviate the issue without too much drama. Having said that and you think it's ...
