Re: 105 Vs 200 cruisers
Mate, people tend to hang on to them with a death grip if they are diesel. Up here in Nth QLD I have seen 200 Series diesels (only 2 of them) for sale with 100K km on them for mid $60K at car yards. The big step up from the 105 to the 200 in price has also meant that the 105 diesel is a very much ...

Re: Roof Top Tent, Roof Rack Build up Thread
That's going to be a bloody nice rack when finished!! I've been wanting something similar for mine - knowing now that you can buy the bends pre-fabbed, I might just have a go too. I'm the same as you and want mine to be close to the roof - I don't like the big gap between them, even though it might ...

Re: What happened to the TRD Hilux
I remember reading a review of them up against the petrol Navara D40 - all the results went to the Navara, mainly because it was $20K cheaper. Navara was even quicker to 100kmh and over the 1/4 mile. Never saw too many on the road though......

Re: Show us some sweet 60 pics.
Finally got the lift kit fitted to mine.... OME Heavies in the front, Mediums in the rear and OME Sport shocks and damper. Much improved ride quality and height and I can get rid of the extended shackles which made it handle pretty ordinary..... but they were RED after all....... http://i733 ...

Re: computer gps
Yeah, it was my impression too. The unit was on, but set to the home screen which has no active or moving content - I would have thought this to be safer than having a moving image that could distract you. It also has the capability to run a rear view camera, which also wasn't on as the trailer that ...

Re: computer gps
Be careful about using a Laptop as a GPS in cab - I can tell you from recent experience that a VDU that faces the driver and can be operated while the vehicle is in motion (even though you aren't) will cost you 3 points and $133 dollars. I had a GPS in my 200 Series below the level of the dash, in ...
