Re: Turning up idle speed
You probly wont find a adjuster, the base idle will most likley be adjusted by the ECU or with the idle air bypass screw on the Throttle Body. It does sound a little low, but you should first check what RPM the factory idle "should" be ,just in case it is still within the factory guidlines , your ...

Re: how much weight can the back door take
The rear door does seem to have a known problem of developing a crack half way up,it seems some people have cracked doors on low K cars ,that have never been off road, and have only ever had a standard spare. While others have hung 35's on the door and been round Aus 30 times and rocket jumped over ...

Re: GT2860RS grinding when spooling down upon engine shut of
I had a Garrett BB (big sucka GT4294r) on my rb30, you could hear a slight noise after shut down , but you could only hear it when there was very little ambient noise (late at night when it was quiet) If your noise is something you have to really listen for in the engine bay, it just well could be ...

Fixed mine by fitting a new steering damper and a good tyre balance and alignment, also played around with tyre pressures all with good results.

Re: Expression of Interest everyday 4x4 winch challenge
Id say what rockcrawler said sounds very realistic, perhaps some sort of judged points system for car cosmetics could be taken into account, so a straight and tidy car could score/start with more points to begin with than some beat up old shi77a ? Also perhaps could some obstacles be laid out in a ...

Re: GU Wagon rear door stay (small door)
Looking at suitable donor struts, i found one of the boot struts from a Ford Falcon (BA sedan model, easy to find at the wreckers) looks like it should be a great fit. After using this for about a month i can say its definately been a worth while mod, no more clashing of the doors or stuggling to ...

Re: Expression of Interest everyday 4x4 winch challenge
I should know as it has been impossible to get enough people to enter a standard winch challenge event for the person on a limited buget. MMM Perhaps this is a indication of the lack of standard cars that come fitted with a winch ,or do you think low entry numbers are accredited to other reasons ...

Re: Expression of Interest everyday 4x4 winch challenge
A softish non damage event for beginers/standard type rigs would be great. I cant help wonder how many of your standard 4x4's that people drive to work in every day, have a winch tho ? I drive my Pootrol every day, and i go off road more often than most other people i know with registered 4x4s, i ...

GU Wagon rear door stay (small door)
Ive been getting slightly frustrated with the small rear door not staying open on my GU Wagon  A bit of wind at the beach or parked on a incline toward the drivers side and the little door soon becomes a pain in the backside (literally), the big rear door has a lock to prevent accidental ...
